Whether you're an early-bird or enjoying a bit of a lie-in, get up when you're ready and head to the restaurant for your delicious buffet breakfast.

Join the group at 10am for your first workshop. A mix of teaching, sharing your amazing ideas and group coaching will leave you inspired and ready to take action.

Then, enjoy some free time to process your learning, fill in your workbook, enjoy some sunshine by the pool or take a walk on the nearby beach before lunch.

Feeling social? Meet up for lunch with some of the other amazing salon owners on the retreat with you. Prefer some quiet time? That's fine too.

Our afternoon workshop is next with your second dose of inspiration!

Then spend more free time networking or enjoying the hotel's facilities.

For book-worms, we're bringing back the super popular optional business book club. Before dinner we meet for a chat about your daily reading.

Our last group activity of the day is our daily summary, where we round-up today's learning and get your timetable for the following day.

Then it's pre-dinner drinks and a delicious meal in one of the hotel's restaurants. Once again, there's no obligation to join us if you'd rather some quiet time.

Your questions about Your Amazing Year retreat 2025

When does the event start and end?

The event starts with a welcome meeting on the afternoon of Sunday 19th January 2025 at 4pm.

The event closes on the morning of Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 11am.

Please remember that the itinerary is a draft itinerary and subject to change.

Where are we staying?

Our chosen hotel is the Barceló Tenerife 5 star resort, just a short distance from the airport.  PLEASE NOTE: If for operational reasons the hotel cannot accommodate us we may have to relocate to different resort of a similar standard.

What are the catering arrangements?

All meals are included and served in an international buffet style.  You can choose to take your meals with the group or dine separately.  The hotel has a number of dining options.

What is included?

Comfortable 5 star accommodation is included - no sharing rooms or bathrooms here (unless you want to)!

Accommodation is on an 'all inclusive' basis, including all meals, light snacks and local soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.

Full use of the hotel facilities.

All workshops, coaching, workbooks and handouts.

What is the payment plan?

1.  Secure your place with a £300 deposit.  When I have received it, I will send your booking form with terms and conditions.

2.  Second payment of £650 due by 30th September 2024

3.  Third payment of £650 due by 30th November 2024

What isn't included?  What are the extras?

Your flights from your chosen regional airport to Tenerife South (TFS).  NOTE!  Tenerife has two airports - our venue is closest to Tenerife South.

Your airport transfer.  Our chosen venue is very close to the airport so a taxi should not cost more than about €10.  Even though most taxis accept card payments it might be wise to have this amount available as cash.

Treatments booked through the hotel spa.

Any tips or gratuities (though these are not usually expected).

Travel insurance - please note it is a condition of your booking that you confirm you have adequate travel insurance in place.

Can I bring my spouse or partner?

Your spouse or partner can share your room on an all-inclusive basis for an extra £400 per stay.  Please indicate on the booking form if you would like to take this option and whether you would prefer twin or double accommodation.

NOTE:  This option is an additional NON-DELEGATE rate - your spouse or partner won't be able to attend workshops or participate in additional retreat activities.  Additional nights before or after the event will increase the supplement.

Can I share a room to bring the cost down?

Twin rooms are available.  The cost per person would be reduced by  £200.  To book a twin room, you must BOTH click the link below to secure your space, then indicate on the booking form who you will be sharing with.

Can I bring my children?

Unfortunately this option is not available for the Your Amazing Year retreat.

Can I arrive early or stay after the event?

Additional nights can be requested before or after the event.  Please indicate on the booking form if you would like to take this option.  Please do NOT book your flights until your extended stay has been explicitly confirmed.

Anything else I should bring?

If you don't have a valid EHIC card, apply for a free GHIC card as soon as possible.  This entitles you to free emergency health care whilst travelling in lots of countries, including Spain and the Canary Islands.
